green disease

now my right calf's hurting after getting kicked during last night's game. but still ok. kinda hobbling around for a little bit. went horseback riding last sunday in estes park. it was fun and relaxing. hmm maybe i could get myself a horse. i know that'll someone very happy:) i don't understand why the horse that i rode keeps passing gas (?!) the trail that we took was beautiful. i'm not big into hiking, but i surely felt compelled by it. the scenery here in colorado can take your breath away at times, especially when you look up to the majestic view of the rockies. not much to see on the eastern plains though as they're flat. maybe not as flat as kansas or nebraska, but flat enough as far as you can see. the vastness could overwhelm you sometimes. one interesting fact about colorado is that the state has, perhaps, the most registered boats in the country. surprising considering the fact that it's landlocked! well, i don't plan on buying a boat anytime soon, if that's what you're thinking hehe..


so, my trip to singapore's pretty much set. very much looking forward to it.. the food, the scenery, the weather. gonna be attending a school reunion at the end of july - SRP class of 91 at sekolah menengah khir johari in tanjong malim, perak. it's quite an achievement really to still be able to keep in touch with friends from junior high, especially after 14 years being away from it all. while most of the class stayed on for senior high, quite a number of us went our separate ways after form3, me included. the best part of the experience is definitely the camaraderie that most of us had. it's an enriching and a humbling experience at the same time in getting to know people from various backgrounds. from the friendly ones to the gangster-type (samseng kampung), from the well-to-do families to the poor ones, it made for a very, very conducive learning grounds for me. and i'm grateful that i've been given the opportunity to part of their experience as well.
