high and dry

arrgghhh!! the agony of being a manchester united fan... united lost in the 2004/05 FA cup final on penalties (the first of its kind ever) after being the better (and dominant) team through the 90-min regulation and 30-min extra-time. that includes having struck the woodwork twice and having 9-10 more shots on goal. everybody was on-fire and played well (except maybe for roy carroll in goal... he had one shot to save all game). and i must say ruud van nistelrooy was rusty, he could've buried at least 2 chances, blindfolded! aihh such is the nature of the game. on this evident though, united could surely look forward to the new season with renewed enthusiasm and challenge for honors again. i'm particularly keen to see united lift the european champions' league again.. in my lifetime. a club with such rich history and massive potential could and should be european kings more than twice. a changing of guard may be in order to mold the likes of wayne rooney, christiano ronaldo, and darren fletcher to greater heights. but hey, what do i know right? another season of high expectations and underachievements has passed us by. and it'll surely be game on come august for the new season. come on reds!!
i feel sick now. and bored.
oh, i had the privilege to read some fine writings in darthside.blogspot.com. this dude, the owner of the site, is absolutely brilliant. can't say enough good things about his writings. as you would've suspected, the blog's about the dark lord himself, darth vader. it gives an insight to the inner workings and thoughts of the sith warrior. from being a slave to his master, darth sidious, to dealings with the rebellious imperial enemies, and how much he enjoys the pleasure of 'crushing' one's 'trachea', the blog reveals a surprisingly brutal honesty of a 'monster' who once was human. great writing!
i'm currently listening to sheila-on-7 ('30 hari mencari cinta' soundtrack, methinks). it's a decent album. kinda refreshing, a break from guns-n-roses and stp.
i'm suppose to finish up with a failure analysis on this one drive. problem is, the thing is not failing anymore. how am i suppose to do my job? i have to creative today. it'll fail again.
okeh-kokeh.. hope the weekend's been grand and you're in superb health! take care. ciao!
