bullet proof... i wish i was

i had the most wonderful weekend that any world-traveller dude (heh!) would've dreamt of. and perhaps the most happening (and 'clean') weekend that i've had had here in singapore (ok, let's not get into too much details here). kinda sad to miss my junior high school reunion in tanjong malim on saturday, because i had to stay for, urm, a 'professional commitment' (ie work), but i had the privilege of meeting up with some awesome, beautiful people here, for what counts as my blogger friends. got a surprise call from lissa kharina late saturday afternoon, while i was drafting a masterpiece of a literature that is my report.. amidst voices in my head (ie tengah pening and tension because i had to be at work). she said she's with sheryl at ck's place in jurong and she didn't have too much time because she had to rush back to jb by 7.30pm for her best-friend's akad nikah ceremony and whether we can meet up. oh, and she wanted to go to orchard road and shop (maybe...?!) and it was already kinda late. i thought to myself, nope she's not gonna make it and i'll probably won't have other opportunities to see her because she's moving to kl soon ( i found out later that she was moving to kl yesterday). then i told her i'd meet her in jurong in 1/2 hour, at ck's condo. so, that's how, when, and where i met lissa kharina. bonus points: i also got to meet sheryl, ck, feisal (ck's husband), and of course, little yasmin:) more bonus points: the laksa that ck prepared (superbly yummy!). on sunday, i got to meet noreez and kj (feisal and ck's lembing friend who's also in singapore on a business trip.. i think i got this right, wasn't concentrating because i got my eyes on lil yasmin's kiddies burgers then) and tasted the best nasi dagang in singapore! a slice of heaven from home!! (now, if only i can talk ck into preparing singgang 'ganu.. that would make this trip the best ever, ever!... ever! haha!!) thanks for the company and hospitality everybody. we should do this more often. and speaking of singgang, my dearest sister in kl text-messaged me about her singgang... this is something worth waiting for. so sis, insyaAllah i'll be going to kl this coming weekend, pehe2 ler k! oh, you going with me to temerloh right? for nurul's wedding? hmm well let me know. i can't think straight right now.. still high from ck's nasi dagang hehe.. okeh-kokeh. stay safe everybody:)
