i've moved into the core team room recently. no, seriously, kinda big deal to me. and kinda understanding all about being in the corridors of power here.. where many important decisions that involve millions of dollars are made everyday. imagine the pressure, albeit i'm just a pawn in this business. i didn't wanna move in at first, but here i am being surrounded by some high level executives in the company, me acting all cool and all knowing. after all, i am the program's systems engineer.. it's a given that i should know everything about the program.

i had a decent raya celebration here in colorado. got in late to the eid prayer but didn't miss the prayer. then off to work. oh, and i had my maroon baju melayu and sampin on the whole day. people were asking me question about my attire for that whole day, which i was more than happy to explain. then off to rose's house for some laksa, and musa's house for some nasi minyak and satay. saturday was a crazy day.. lost in the second round of the denver clay court tournament in the morning and off to golden to meet up with tyiara and csm's gang. while there, met up with kak azie and family. had some bihun rebus. then convoyed with 6 other cars from golden to rose's open house in denver. later that day, went to bl's for a gathering with the longmont gang. prepared some chicken satay and kuah kacang earlier (bl volunteered to grill the satay). the nasi impit didn't come out as expected, so had to ditch it. kakting prepared some nasi lemak (special request from karwei) and callie prepared some chicken and beef rendang. plenty for the gang.

i think i was extremely exhausted from the whole excursion that i fell asleep on the couch during the party. well, it was worth the exhaustion. eidul fitri in colorado 2005.
